I like this particular acrylic yarn because it's quite soft, works up quickly, washes well, and usually only costs about 8 USD on sale at Joann Fabrics for the entire pound of yarn!

🧶My red dress is made with Hobbii 'Friends Cotton 8/8' and Hobbii 'Cocktail Deluxe', which are both thicker, worsted (4) weight yarns.

The Castilleja is a **made-to-measure** crochet pattern with built-in calculators! This means that it can be made to any adult size. First you'll make a gauge sample with your preferred yarn and hook, and then enter your particular gauge and measurements into my calculators, which will guide you to your ideal fit.
✨ The design includes options for an open or closed neckline, open or closed back, and two different lace trims.
